Guest guest
The reason " bars " probably don'e work for most people is because they load them with " crap " and a lot of them probably aren't any better than a candy bar. And who knows what the heck the " protein " is made of. When I went gluten free I discovered the Lara Bar and Trio (I get them at Costco) and they are basically fruit and nuts. The Trio bar is pretty much nuts and I think has some agave nectar in it. But I find they really hold me over and I love the crunch of the the Trio bar. Alana I have a whole box of protein bars (used to love them & now they are so icky sweet that I can't stand them). My tastes have definitely changed. > > mj > > > >
Guest guest
Oh yes, I used to love the Lara bars & then the diet mentality set in (before IE) about how many calories or sugar grams or SOMETHING & I stopped buying them. LOL. Next time I go to Costco I'm going to pick up a box. I just remembered how much my grandson used to LOVE them, too & he could use the calories & protein. mj > > The reason " bars " probably don'e work for most people is because they load them with " crap " and a lot of them probably aren't any better than a candy bar. Guest guest
I haven't tried these bars, but am heading to the store today, so will see if they have them! Guest guest
I'm a weirdo who really likes Luna, Clif, and the Clif Builder bars. BUT, two make a meal and not one. Two clif bars are the perfect breakfast for me. Less and yes not satisfying. Ciao!
Guest guest
, what is so weird about that? I still like some of the zone protein bars (NOT the graham cracker ones) & find them handy to carry along in case I get hungry. I find that one bar & an apple make a good combo. Also, just love LUNA bars. I haven't tried clif bars. Might buy one some time to see if I like them. mj > > I'm a weirdo who really likes Luna, Clif, and the Clif Builder bars. > BUT, two make a meal and not one.
