Guest guest
Hi everyone : Forgive my English, my knowledge is not very good.. A few weeks ago my daughter started sucking her hands repeatedly. In the past, with a zinc supplement this situation had declined significantly. but this time the child is constantly sucking up irritating your skin so that it was injured. Our doctor told us he did a blood test metal to see if it was a zinc deficiency. And to get the results sorpredí me to see that the zinc level was extremely high!. And selenium very low, barely appeared. My daughter takes a multivitamin daily (vitaspectrum, Klaire Labs) and is included 15 mg of zinc and selenium mcgr 200. I further supplemented with 20 mg of zinc picolinate each overnight fast. (My daughter is almost 5 years old and weighs 31 lbs) The level of supplementation was supposed to be correct. The rest of the metals except iron, which is also rather low, is more or less compensated. My daughter is in treatment with Dr. Krigsman, and now you are taking Entocort( budesonide ) and Pentasa (mesalazine). We have really serious problems in controlling yeast and we " try " it with fluconazole, with whom he spent more than three monthsand in my opinion is leaving to work. Dr K. not allow us to another antibiotic than to fluctuations (it is not possible or amphotericin or ketoconazole) so until we finish with budesonide (two months more) we will have to endure ... Candex complement treatment, biocidin, biotin ( an advise from this forum , thanks ) and lots of probiotics. Any suggestions? Do you think the sucking of hands can have something to do with excess zinc? Thank you very much in advance. You are always helpful
