Hello,

I am really trying to follow the guidelines. It was very difficult at first

but is getting easier & easier. I have lost almost 40 lbs (the first 20 with

TOPS from last July to this Feb, then I KNEW that I HAD TO GO DEEPER so I joined

Overeaters Anonymous & got abstinent April 11 & in the last 2 months I have be

combining OA & WFG to lose another 18 lbs). It didn't really seem to me that

the 2 would work together but my friend & I have found a way to do it that is

working for both of us. My goal is to eventually just be able to do it Geneen's

way. I have complete faith that it will happen. The last couple of days I have

actually had to remind myself that " IT IS TIME TO EAT " . Never happened in my

life before. I am still working on Eating without distractions, eating slower &

stopping when I am full BUT it is starting to happen & it is VERY exciting.

of the exercises and follow the guidelines. I started with 2 the first week and

will continue those along with 2 more the 2nd week and so on.

Is anyone else in the midst of following the guidelines?

nj,

Congrats on your outstanding weight loss! Are you follwing all of the 7

guidelines or just some of them? I always wonder if some people use only some

of them and still find success.

Hi MJ!

Can you explain more about how you are combining OA and WFG? I've

asked on-list before, but I do find it kind of distracting when

people are constantly saying that one must ABSTAIN COMPLETELY from

all trigger foods and on and on...are you mixing the two

philosophies, or practicing WFG as your plan of eating?

Thanks for sharing!
