Valtrex dosing for a 30 lbs child

Hi there, this is my first time posting. I've begun comprehensive anti-viral

therapy with valtrex, difflucan and flagyl for my 3yr old 30lbs son. I'm seeing

gains but don't feel the dosing is right. We are giving him 50mg Valtrex once a

day, and I thought Stan's son of comparable size was dosed very differently.(

250mg 3x a day?) Can any of you comment on this? I'd like to ask my DAN doctor

to up the prescription without sounding like a dummy.
