As Dave said, your blood does not thicken, but there is definite oxygen

deprivation. My husband always asks me to do a BG when I get grumpy. He

knows the sugar is either low or high!

Basically, when your blood glucose level gets too high, your blood thickens,

causing sleepiness because your brain is not getting enough oxygen. high

BGL's also cause damage to organs, and can cause grumpiness (raises hand in

acceptence to this).

Can't say how many times my mother would say, " your attitude sucks " while I

was growing up.
