Guest guest
Hi Everyone, Some of you may have already seen this, but I thought I'd pass it along just in case. If you are a fan of Geneen Roth, here's some info from her about her next book. I am not endorsing it, since I haven't read it yet, but I know there's been good buzz around it. Also, if you live in the Marin/Sonoma County area of California, she's making a couple personal appearances and book signing. February 26, 2010 Dear All, I hope this finds you well and settled in your sweet selves. I wanted to let you know that my first new book in six years -- Women Food and God: An Unexpected Path to Almost Everything -- is being released on Tuesday, March 2. The book is about using your relationship with food as a path rather than a wall, as something that can open you rather than close you. And it is about the luminous universe that is available to you when you do. On Monday, March 1, Oprah's Soul Series radio on Sirius/XM will feature an interview with Lesser (author of Broken Open) and me. There will be a five minute clip of the interview on www.oprah.com on Monday. If you don't have a subscription to Sirius, you can sign up for a free 3 day online trial membership so that you can listen to the interview on the day it is aired -- which will be at 3 am, 11 am, and 4 pm -- all Eastern Standard Time (check to see the difference in your own time zones). On Tuesday, March 2, I am doing a book reading at Copperfield's in Sebastopol, CA at 7 pm. On Thursday, March 4, I will be at Book Passage in Corte Madera, CA at 7 pm. Still to come: a talk with Anne Lamott and me about Women Food and God that will be posted on YouTube in the next few weeks. An interview with Oprah and me, and an excerpt from Women Food and God in O: The Oprah Magazine in their April issue, which will be on the stands on March 15. On Saturday, April 17, at Spirit Rock Meditation Center, in Woodacre, CA, 11 am - 5 pm, I am presenting a one-day workshop on Women Food and God: A Transformational Path as a fundraiser for the Center. An interview with me in the May issue of Redbook magazine, which will on the stands in April. And much much more....all of which you can find out about by visiting www.geneenroth.com. I hope to see you at one of the book events or hear from you when you read Women Food and God. With love,Geneen Thanks!GillianGillian Hood-son, MS, ACSM Get your report, "The 6 Steps to Guilt-Fr*e Eating" at http://www.HealthierOutcomes.com Follow me on Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/gillianhood
