Guest guest
Ze, I would love to share tips and such with you! Also, May has been trying to lose weight (as I'm sure a lot of us on the board are trying also) and it would be great if we could share tips and ideas back and forth. The one thing I'm doing right now is drinking more water. You wouldn't think it would be so hard to do, and I'm always " after " people to do this, so I'm following my own advice for a change. My Chaz has suddenly become a health nut. He went to a Naturopath/MD and is now gung-ho....and since he lost 9 pounds since his visit last week I'm thinking he's doing something right. He's following a Paldeo-diet..in other words, what our ancestors ate is what we should eat, and avoid all dairy. Only lean meats, veggies, fruits, nuts and grains. I'm glad you're still so active. That is another huge part of getting the weight off. Less calories, more exercise. Again, if I could just follow my own advice!!! LOL!!! I'm starting back on fish oil, serrapeptase and my probiotics again. Ah, the " fat " wardrobe...hee hee! I have one of those too! I'm currently right between a size 16 and an 18. But they don't make " 17,s " so my 18's are a little loose and my 16's are a little tight. Just can't win for losing...or maybe, I would win if I were losing! LOL! I have optimistically put a pair of size 9 jeans where I can see them every day. I've heard this is a good technique to remind yourself of what " could " be. Sounds like we have a similar dressing style too. My daughter is forever saying " Mom, you are NOT going out of the house in that " and I'll say " why not " and she rolls her eyes and says " I won't be seen in public with you " and then marches me back to the closet to change. LOL!!!! Crazy kid! She should have seen how I dressed as a child. The Avon lady called my Mom one day when I was about 11 to ask if she knew how I was dressed as I sauntered 8 blocks to my friends house. Mom just laughed...she was quite used to me! Hugs Ze! WE CAN DO THIS!!!!! Babs in Texas where it's hot and I can't fit into my bathing suit > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > I saw my chest physician today, my results are > FEV1-67%, > > > > > > FVC-90%, > > > > > > > > > > FEV1/FVC-78%, TLCO-23%, VA-82%, KCO-31%, these are > > > slightly > > > > > down > > > > > > > on > > > > > > > > > last > > > > > > > > > > month.
