First of all, I would like to send my deepest feelings to

all who live in the US, I saw everything on TV and I'm

shocked.

Last friday I saw my gastro doc, and according my last endo,

as I know, I still have esophagitis, hiatal hernia, scar tissue in the

esophagus and my fundo surgery is not working.

According the pictures, part of my stomach is really in the top of

my diafragma (throraxic area), in this part the acid is travelling free

through the esophagus, as he said.

As the anti-acids do not work, he only give me a strong anti-nausea

drug called Zofran, as it's so much expensive, I find another brand,

same generic, made in a local laboratory (Brazil) that costs six time

less.

About heartburn, he did say nothing. He said that the symptons that

I have had, it's from this or could be from pancreatitis too.

Like he is do not helping so much, he is prone to locate me in a CF

center, here, in the University of my state. He said that meet a pedia

trician and talked about my case.

Only thing that he said that is in the pediatric floor, but there's adults

there.I never meet another person with CF.

I had real bad experience in the past, when I tried one locate, in another

medical university. They treated me really bad, I only saw they, 2 times,

and did not come back anymore.I said that for him. He said OK, if you

did not like, do not go.

I'm waiting for a recommendation letter and see what's going on.

Bye for now,

Liane
