As most of you know, I've been trying to get help from Yahoo because I can't sign in and/or can't open photos or anything else.

I was sent to three different "places" and then the third place sent me back to the first place...it appears no one can help me.

So then, comes the following! (My reply follows at the bottom).

Hello Sher, Thank you for writing to Yahoo! Groups. We understand it's hard, and even frustrating trying to resolve an issuewhen working through email or phone, not being able to actually see the issue you are experiencing. In an effort to better understand the issue you are experiencing, we would like a screenshot so we can see a "picture" of what you are experiencing. We have outlined the steps for taking a screenshot and saving the file so we can get the information we need to better assist you.If you are experiencing an error message please make sure that the errormessage is in the foreground (right out in front) so we may see the error message. If you don't receive a message the screenshot may still help us better understand the issue you are experiencing. Here are the steps for taking a screenshot on a

PC: 1. Press the "Print Screen" key (it may be labeled on your keyboard as PrtScn/SysRq) 2. Open the Microsoft Paint Program - Select the "Start" button on the Windows Task Bar - Select the "Programs" (it may be "All Programs") menu - Select the "Accessories" menu - Select "Paint" 3. Press "CTRL+V" or select "Edit" and "Paste" to paste the screenshot into the Paint application. 4. Click "File" then "Save" - Select "Desktop" on the left to save the file to your Windows Desktop - Enter "YAHOOID-screenshot " in the "File Name" field (where YAHOOID is your Yahoo! ID) - Select "JPEG (*.JPG; *.JPEG; *.JPE; *.JFIF) in the "Save As Type" drop-down - Click the "Save" buttonHere are the steps for taking a screenshot on a MAC: 1. Press "Command+Shift+ 3" keys on your keyboard 2. A file "Untitled.PNG"

should be created on your desktop within a fewseconds. Please respond to this message and include this screenshot as a file attachment so we can "see" the issue you are experiencing with Yahoo! Groups. We appreciate your patience and willingness to work with us while we further investigate the issue you are experiencing with Yahoo! Groups.

You've got to be kidding me! All this, just to get help signing in to my group at

Breathe-Support@ yahoogroups. com ?

If it takes all this to get help Yahoo needs some smarter tech support!

Never mind. I'll just discontinue the group.

I have this same problem (can't sign in) and/or can't open an option such as pictures. This problem cannot be unique because other members write their own frustrations over the same problem.

Sorry I can't say, thank you.

Sher,

Just so that you know I'm trying, I have been in contact with Yahoo Groups regarding the ongoing issue of members having trouble signing in. I've not had alot more success than you in getting any type of coherent answer but I'm still working on it!

MB... as I said to them in my post...if that (jibberish) is the best Yahoo can do they need smarter techs!

There doesn't seem to be a "fix" that works. I'm tired of troubleshooting this same problem over and over. You can't fix it, they "can't" fix it. It's ridiculous.

Yahoo's attitude toward this, email, messenger, and all is that they are providing a free service so pretty much you take it as it is.

Now, I don't really understand the problems as I very seldom have any problem getting here myself. I do more often have problems with some of the photo functionality.

One thing I might suggest since its the way I go about it is, if you haven't, bookmark the message part of this site so you can just click on it directly. Then if you aren't signed in it will give you the sign-in screen.

Also, you might check what version of Internet Explorer you're on and even go to the Explorer website and make sure you're on the latest version with all the patches. If you go to this page it will tell you what version you're on and give you an upgrade chance.

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/internet-explorer/download-ie.aspx

Out of curiosity, Sher, what operating system are you on? What version of Windows?

I suspect because some have the problem more than others that it is a conflict with some operating systems or some versions of explorer.

Relieve everyone from their panic. She's not leaving over those

issues, just telling the yahoo person to make her point. Now, is she

at home steaming over it...yes. Does she need to calm down over the

incompetency and lack of concern that she can do nothing in the world

about? Yes, and enjoy her birthday weekend to the fullest. This is a

weekend and Monday is a day to have fun, Sher. And thats an

order....lol
