So I know many people have come to IE from a desire to stop compulsive eating,

overeating or binging (this has been something I have struggled with in the

past). I found IE when I was recovering from disordered restricting and

undereating and I am wondering if any of you have had similar difficulties/found

solutions you can suggest. I am finding it more and more difficult to eat as

many calories as my nutritionist would like. I find myself spending hours

reading recipes for foods I can;t bring myself to make and wandering through

supermarkets looking at foods I can't bring myself to buy. I am struggling more

and more to make the most basic of food decisions: to eat foods that have

sufficient calories to keep me functional and sufficient nutrients to keep me

healthy. My weight is still high enough to be safe and I'm going to start seen

a new therapist soon but if anyone out there has any suggestions on things that

worked for them, I would really appreciate it.

May we each find the peace we're seeking

~
