Always Call Christie Gravatt We are not human beings having a spiritual experience, we are spiritual beings having a human experience! Subject: OCD traits?!?To: mb12 valtrex Date: Thursday, January 27, 2011, 8:59 PM My son who is 5 1/2 and has moderate autism. He is showing some signs of OCD or just being more stuck in routines than normal. I was always very grateful that this wasn't an issue for us but it now effects our lives.Examples:He is having trouble breaking routines. He needs things put back in place. He is also showing more fear to things/places out of his normalcy.I'm just wondering is there any advice on supplementation for this trait? My instinct is to believe that clostridia or yeast is back and in full force. I want to contact his DAN doctor on this matter but before starting to many things at once I thought I'd run it through this yahoo group for any extra help and support. Thanks
Guest guest
OCD is commonly bacteria so I think your instincts are in proper working order. Also, test for PANDAS. Guest guest
It probably wouldn't hurt to have him tested for strep antibodiesTo: mb12 valtrex Sent: Thu, January 27, 2011 9:59:38 PMSubject: OCD traits?!? Guest guest
Sounds like PANDAS which is a bad reaction to strep. You can have his ASO/DNASE titers checked but 50% of the kids who have PANDAS do NOT have hgh titers. You need to go to the website www.pandasresourcenetwork.org and look into the symptoms and treatments. There are doc's who will treat based on symptoms alone and not just titers. You really need to investigate PANDAS cause the symptoms get worse and worse w/ each exposure if not treated. It can really be debilitating. As far as treatments go also look into Dr Usman's biofilm protocol to se in conjuction w/ anitibiotics to treat the strep Subject: OCD traits?!?To: mb12 valtrex Date: Thursday, January 27, 2011, 9:59 PM My son who is 5 1/2 and has moderate autism.
