Guest guest
WE did both. The oral DMSA was tough on my sons gut and caused yeast flare ups. The DMSA orally also tastes horrible. Also the timing of oral DMSA was rough. We found greater/faster imrpovements w/ IV chelation. My sons would ask to go for IV's. WEe used IV's of EDTA/DMPS,GSH,NAC,VIT C and a phoscholtidycholine push. Subject: chelation questionTo: mb12 valtrex Date: Friday, February 11, 2011, 2:21 PM Hi, I am returning to the group after taking a break and changing DAN doctors. My son is 4 y/o with an ASD diagnosis. We have been considering chelation. My DAN is for IV chelation but I have heard from other parents the slow and steady Andy Cutler method is better long term and for the child. Anyone have experience with either method? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Be a PS3 game guru.Get your game face on with the latest PS3 news and previews at Yahoo! Games. Guest guest
I never did IV but we do do AC. I don't have much of a gut kid, though. I love AC chelation and what it's done for my son. I'm tired a lot, though! Cheryl ~http://www.gryffins-tail.blogspot.com~~@Gryffins_Tail~ WE did both. The oral DMSA was tough on my sons gut and caused yeast flare ups. Guest guest
Consider joining the Autism-Mercury or RFA groups. They both have a lot of good information about AC chelation. Guest guest
I haven't used a td, but be very carefule even before u start. With oral with have to be sharp with time.3yrs old ASD ... will start cheltion soon Subject: Chelation QuestionTo: mb12 valtrex Date: Thursday, 3 March, 2011, 7:30 PM Okay all we start TD DMSA tomorrow for 3 days. The instructions from Lee Silsby say to rub in .4mL 3x's a day but I know a lot of you have mentioned Andy Cutler's protocol but isn't that just for Oral Chelation? I am concerned about having 8 hours in between doses b/c of redistribution......advice anyone?? Would it be as effective if I did half the dose every 4 hours??
