There is a you tube video w/ Dr Schulman where she treats PANDAS w/ Azithromycin. She uses 10mgs per kg of body weightr once per week.

Just talking to a friend who has a son with what she thinks is PANDAS...we were talking about Zithromax and she was curious what sort of dose doctors usually prescribe and for how long. I don't have any answers b/c my son doesn't have PANDAS. However, I know that many have successfully used it. Does that doctor start off at a strong dose and decrease the dose throughout the treatment? Her son is 8. She just wants to have a little knowledge before seeing the doctor. Thought I would ask you all.Thanks so much!beth

Weekly dose of 500mg long term.
