Guest guest
Hi everyone! I was so sick and tired of dieting, I had hit rock bottom. I couldn't stand the thought of another diet, and I really couldn't stand the thought of gaining anymore weight. Over the past year, I have lost 30 lbs through restrictive eating, and each pound lost was a struggle of self-denial and unhappiness. Over the recent holiday's I gained back 15 of the 30 lbs I lost. That put me into a depressive spiral; however, I felt and prayed that there was another option for me. One that didn't require me to diet. I knew there HAD to be something out there. After researching the Internet, I found two books that is helping me change my life around. They are Intuitive Eating, and Eat What You Love, Love What You Eat. I started instintive eating two weeks ago, and I have never felt better. I have lost a few lbs but most importantly when I used to diet I used to sabotage my weekends eating all those forbidden foods, and everything I would lose during the week I would gain back twofold over the weekend andnow through instinctive eating, I can have my cake and eat it too and maintain myself over the weekend. To me this is one of the biggiest obsticles I have ever overcome. I'm so thrilled that I'm in charge now. I know I still have a lot to learn but I'm so excited with something as basic as eating when I'm hungry and stop when I'm satisifed. I'm thrilled!!!!!
