Hello,

My name is Eliana. I am relatively new to intuitive eating and I am excited to

be a part of this group. I recently picked up Geneen Roth's book Women, Food

and God and I also have been reading Overcoming Overeating. I have been

inspired by both of those books to start working on myself and to give up the

notion that I need to diet to change myself. I am working on becoming

comfortable with and truly embracing the idea that I will never go on a diet

again. I totally get it intellectually but emotionally it is hard to let go of

the way that I have been for so long. It is scary to just jump off the cliff

and hope that everything will be ok.

I have a question for the group: I am finding it pretty easy to know when I am

hungry and when I am full. I am not finding it easy to always know what my body

wants when I am hungry. Do any of you have tips for how to figure that out?
