Guest guest
Dawn, I make garlic dills. I don't slice them. Just shove them into the jars with fresh dill, garlic cloves and a red hot pepper. Then I cover with brine which is 1 qt apple cider vinegar, 1/2 Cup pickling salt and 3 qts water. The brine is brought to a boil first. Stick the lids and bands on and water process for 12-15 min. If you have left over brine you can keep it in the fridge until you get more cucumbers. You just have to heat it again to a boil. I had a real nice birthday. made Ed and I breakfast in bed. Scrambled eggs, bagel with cream cheese and a yogart cup. I rested and slept most of the day. Ed sent Ben to the store and bought a chocolate cake. Then Ed ordered Pizza for dinner. Real fattening day, but I did not have to do a thing. I would love to get your recipe for the sweet cucumbers. Hint, hint. Take care, > > > Hi, .
