Guest guest
I'm really working on the JOY in my intuitive eating journey. I just purchased a bunch of teas from the Republic of Tea company, because the flavors seem absolutely wonderful. Hot Apple Cider and Coconut Cocoa herbal teas, Cinnamon Plum, Vanilla Almond, Cherry Vanilla, Raspberry Quince, Blackberry Sage black teas. I got one medicinal tea, which was turmeric ginger, and I doubt it will be too delicious but good for my joints. ALL of the above are healthy, full of antioxidants, and taste decadent. So for me, part of this journey is full of " I'm worth it " . I can splurge on delicious wonderful teas, or on wonderful entrees or other foods that seem exciting. I have their Ginger Peach tea, and have also tried their blueberry and cranberry blood orange black teas. SOOOOOOO good! Anyway, thanks for letting me share. Tonight I'll probably get a simple pizza to go, but after a nice 3 mile walk. I WANT to move...not because I have to, but because I adore it. Hugs! Guest guest
hi, i went shopping today & got a fabulous red leather jacket @ a great price & while I was there I realized that I still had the desire for tempura that I have been wanting for about a month. it just never seemed to be the 'right' time to have it. either i wasn't hungry when i was near it or i had the desire but didn't want to go out of my way for it. sooooooo, after all that time today i was finally hungry & I was in the right place to have it. i had it & i found out that i don't even like it anymore. i had forgotten how greasy it could be. i ate it but i probably won't get any more cravings for it now. funny how our tastes change once we start allowing ourselves to have whatever we want. the thought crossed my mind while I was eating it that i wish i had ordered a salad instead. ; ) ; ) > > I'm really working on the JOY in my intuitive eating journey. Guest guest
we all have those moments in which we say " I wish I had ordered a salad " or " I wish I had eaten fruit " but what matters is that you didnt deproved yourself from something you like. I would ask myself: did I eat to meet satisfaction levels and hunger levels? did I over eat? Did I know when to stop? good for you!
