Guest guest
Good insight though, good lesson. Sometimes we do learn the hard way and I will benefit from your experience. Thanks. Sandy Today I ate something for breakfast that didn't really taste good. I didn't know the food, never had it before (and will never have it again, lol). I noticed that it didn't taste that good after the first two bites. I ate it up anyway. I wonder why. Then I noticed that I wanted to experiment with the feeling of having eaten calories without them being " delicious " . I started beating myself up that I " wasted calories " on something I didn't really wanted to eat. It shows me that " calorie thinking " is still way too ingrained in my head and that food is so much more than fuel for me. Now wish me luck that I can stop the beating up. Best wishes styxia
Guest guest
Excellent connection Styxia. And your being aware of this is a good place to start from for changing away from this behavior too. Perhaps you can work on " I ate it up anyway. " That should be some very telling answers? Guest guest
Styxia (nice name!) About the beating up part, pretend it was one of us. I'm sure you wouldn't judge and would proceed with compassion. Try it with your own sweet self Foggy > > Today I ate something for breakfast that didn't really taste good.
