Guest guest
I know that sounds funny but it's true. Last night I went to a monthly club meeting that is held at a restaurant. I work 30 minutes from home and this place is another 30+ minutes in traffic beyond my home. Needless to say, I was a quite hungry when I got there. The food there can be hit or miss, I really don't like this place at all, so I ordered the one thing they don't seem to mess up, a burger and fries and a side salad. I ate the salad first then cut my burger and ate the first half. Normally I'm fine right there but have a few fries for the luxury of having them. Well last night I ate the whole burger and actually realized immediately I'd had more than I should have. I ate about half the fries too. Then the waitress put a bowl of fresh berry cobbler in front of my elderly lady friend and I heard "I'll have what she's having" come out of my mouth. The Berry cobbler was small but being already noticeably full, I was uncomfortable when I was done. Immediately I felt the dread come on. Oh NO!! I over ate!! Why? Why? Then it occurred to me, not only did I hate the stuffed uncomfortable feeling and was really noticing it, I couldn't remember the last time this happened exactly. And suddenly I was thrilled to be so stuffed. It was a huge declaration that I must be doing pretty darn good at learning and practicing IE, since I hadn't felt stuffed in so long. I must be learning to stop eating at full! I thought I wasn't doing so good with that one, but I am! I'm getting it!! Yay me!! Sunny
