Wow! Yahoo came through just in time for your birthday! I guess they consider that a gift for you. LOL Anyway, I'm just glad it's fixed and I hope it stays that way.

The way Yahoo is set up, you have to sign in to Yahoo itself to access any of the groups. You can't sign in to the groups home page itself, you sign in to Yahoo and then you can access Breathe-Support or whatever other board you might belong to.

I'm happy it's working for you!

Well well well

well well...will wonders never cease?

Yahoo all of a sudden "fixed the problem" with my not being able to sign in!

Too long to repeat but basically they changed my ID on their end instead of asking me to go through all that stuff I posted from them. I told them if they can see my ID then they can change it and by golly they did.

A question remains however...when any of you bring up the home page how/where do you "sign in"? I still see no place to literally sign in. I have to go through "my account" and sign in that way...

What say you?

I will now work on posting some pictures but not today....

Well, no wonder I have trouble...I never knew this! I wonder why it works from the Home page a lot of the time? Hmmmmm.

I'll try the way you say here and see how that works. Thanks MB.

Sher,

Oh I feel awful...I wish I had been able to figure this out from what you were saying. I think when you say it "works from the home page sometimes" it just means that Yahoo still has you as "logged in". When I log in to Yahoo there's a little box that says something like "keep me logged in" or something like that. I check that box and it keeps me logged in for up to two weeks.

Even with that though I still have to periodically log in to Yahoo. It's a security thing for them. If that's truly what the problem was I apologize for not being able to figure it out for you!

I never have to log in. When I click on internet explorer Yahoo comes up with a box for Jack's email. I click on that and the support group comes up. I think it works this way because I selected Yahoo instead of Google for search engine. I read all the posts on Yahoo. The great number of Breathe Support posts would clog my personal/business email and make it too difficult to manage. Jack79/IPF - UIP/dx06/05 Maine

MB ... if you had been here looking at my computer, you no doubt would have known the problem right away.

I think you're right about being signed in for "two weeks". That's true for me too.

No apology necessary.

I'm still working on how to sign in...but at least I'm good for two weeks!

Beth/Sher

Sounds like her real problem though was her id had problems. I've known

people to have to change id's for that reason before. She's very

fortunate someone in yahoo did that for her. Deep down the id isn't the

name but its a number assigned by the system. So, while hers still

appears the same its not at this point to the system. He also had to

override to reuse her name for the new behind the scenes number.

Jack... I think I'll try using Yahoo as my opening page...maybe, just maybe I can sign in from there and see if it helps.

If you come here and aren't signed in it will automatically provide you

the ability to sign in.
