Guest guest
My husband called the oxygen company this morning. Also received a special call 2 times from my pulmonologist, yesterday and this morning about the liquid oxygen use 24/7. Pulmonologist says he can prescribe it in the home but can not dictate to the oxygent company HOW I may use it. The stipulations and rules for using it 24/7 connected to the liq. oxy unit itself would be very expensive for me. They would have to bill me every month for the use. I could not afford it. He went " round and round " in a relatively decent manner and told my husband he would put some numbers together and see what kind of compromise they could come up with to comply with my request. He called about 30 min. ago and he was the owner of the company. He was very nice and I was very nice, (crap-o-la) lets get on with it, right??????????? hahahahaha There goes that damn sense of humor again, better to laugh than to cry over a huge other bill I would get. The concentrator is going to have to suffice at this time. The Medicare and insurance company will only pay so much per month and the oxygen company would end up with a tremendous loss. Boooooeeeyyyyyy!!!! O well, can only use liq. oxy. tank to refill helios and companion to use when I go out. I could (dishonestly) use them in the house on wheels, how would they know I went out????????????????? I am not like that and knowing I was not being honest, I would probably trip on the wheely cart and fall and break my hip and legs and trip over the dog and kill her, then trip over all the fans running at high speed in this apt., then the neighbors would hear all the noise and come knocking at my door, of which I would trip over the 55' tubing I am carrying around 24/7 and fall into the front door, opening it and knocking down the neighbors and breaking their hips and legs, and we could all end up in the hospital together, LET YOU GUYS KNOW, then you could all send us greetings cards in the hospital during our VERY long stay. I LOVE YOU THIS DAY !! MARY LOU (74) RICHMOND VA IPF '
