Guest guest
Lou, I am so happy the cortisone worked for you. I got those shots into my hip joint from age 26 to 42 when I had my replacement.. I remember the bone on bone pain. I have bursitis in my left shoulder and left hip at the moment. No more shots for me.. I'm done.. my pic cushion is FULL. Enjoy your day with your daughter. Guest guest
Lou... so glad to hear about "no pain". Without that the day is better immediately! I've listened to your daughter sing, she does sound like Patsy Cline and she's pretty too! MamaSher, age 69. IPF 3-06, OR. NasturtiumsDon't fret about tomorrow, God is already there! No pain today or last night.................... Just telling you how blessed I feel today. Got up and fixed Earl's great breakfast as I always do but with no pain. And his lunch to go as I always do and even kissed him goodbye at the door like I always do. He is such a good man, WHO AM I TO SAY NO TO ME. Right? My daughter has a website:www.ginaromano.com WITH very soothing patsy cline music if you would like to listen to one video of her singing: CRAZY, then snipets of several other ones that you can hear. You should read about her too. She has on a Patsy Cline wig in the video and front picture, but there are other pics of her in the site sitting on a fence in Louisa where she and Dennis live and she really has long hair. She sings all over the state of VA to all the country clubs, corporate Christmas functions and Doctors who have estate parties on their property. She has about 2 gigs a day and also sings for free sometimes at retirement communities who can't afford her. She started with some of them for no charge to get started and since their budget sometimes doesn't allow for her price, $200. for 50 minutes, she never forgets about them. I used to take my oxygen canisters to hear her sing, but for the summer months can not. It is warm in those places anyhow, and I can't go to the country clubs to hear her as I am not a member. Wonder why, lol always has time for Mom. No matter what her schedule is. She happens to have 2 gigs in Richmond here tomorrow and is coming by early about 11a.m. to take me to Taco Bell (my fav.) for Taco salad. I love them there. Then stop at the store and come home. It is going to be almost 100 here all next week too.I know you folks in TX have it worse with the heat, but guess you are used to it and the humidity is horrid here which PF isn't the only thing that "takes your breath away" when you open the front door. I hope you have a wonderful day and I am looking forward to "CHAT" tonight at 7pm. It is such a closeness that I feel to the ones who come on to talk, it helps my next 2 weeks fly by til I can hear their voices again. Being with and around the people in here that are suffering with this disease need fellowship, guidance and lots of love and support from one another, as God always supplies us with.I LOVE YOU THIS DAY!!MARY LOU (74) RICHMOND VAIPF '
