Guest guest
Hi, I was just wondering how do most of you tell the difference between the everyday problems we all face and something more serious? Im asking because I normally have symptoms daily but in the last 2 to 3 weeks they have gottn much worse and are not letting up. We have4 had lots of rain here and that usually doesnt ghelp with the headaches and dizziness and so on. Well I thought that was why I wasnt feeling well but even when the rain stops my symptoms dont. I havent eaten a decent meal in weeks. I am either to sick to my stomach to eat or my throat is swollen and anything I put down it comes hback up with a vengance. When my throat swells I cant vomit either, just goes back down, yuck!!!!! The pressure in my head is unreal, vertigo is awful, dont sleeop well left side is numb but painful and depression is coming. I just dont know what is goinhg on or what to do. My nsg doesnt have any answers, my gp barely knows what chiari is and looks at me like an alien when I go in. I dont know if I am in a serious progression due to something going on or if this is just normal progression. For those who are new i have been decompressed in 99, have a vp shunt for hydro, and had my spinal cord detethered in 2000 and have spina bifida with numerous other issues. I dont know even why I am posting this, I just dont know where to turn. I am trying to get to NY but feel it is a losing battle. My family is mad that they have to take time out of their lives ot take me to the doctor so I dont even say anything anymore, I am just starting to keep my pain to myself so I dont bother anyone. Sorry just needed to get that out. If anyone can offer any advice or personal experience I would appreciate it. I am so lost. God Bless Laurie in Illinois Ps Does anyone know if from Wy had her surgery today and how she is??
