Guest guest
Hi Everyone, The doctor visit went well they gave me the injectable metho, which he said was actually stronger, but that it would by-pass my stomach. Hoo-ray for that! Then about 20 minutes later I got a hot flash from hell creep up over my entire body, but hey no nausea yet. He did write me a presciption for the good anti-nausea pills but if I got them all filled at once it would be 600. gosh! Can you believe the cost of medicine. I'm praying I won't need any of it. Next week he is going to cut back on my pred to 15 mgs. My bloodwork looks great so maybe we are on the right road. I sure hope so and I pray you are all feeling good also. Hang in there we are going to win this war. If it kills me. lol I love u Lu
Guest guest
Lu, I'm glad your doctor visit went well. Do you inject the Metho yourself? I get the same reaction after I inject the Enbrel. Feels like I'm burning up,passes pretty quickly though so it's not too bad. Hope you continue to feel better and good news on lowering the Pred. Love Ya, Sandy update on Lu and doctor's visit > Hi Everyone, > The doctor visit went well they gave me the injectable metho, which he said > was actually stronger, but that it would by-pass my stomach. Guest guest
Lu, I'm so glad to hear that you are finally getting some relief and starting to feel a little better. Wow, your doctor must have prescribed a large quantity of anti-nausea medication for it to cost that much!!! Maybe that's why my doctor only gives me 9 at a time, but with unlimited refills. Hang in there and let's hope the injectable metho does the trick!!
