Steve Gooch Update: Khartoum Under Fire

Dear Humanity Healing Family and Friends,

As I type this, I am on the telephone with Steve Gooch. He is fine,

is in a relatively safe area - Tief, a suburb of Khartoum - and the

city is quiet, apart from the deployment of the local UN Peace

Keeping forces moving throughout the city. The curfew has been extended.

We will be working to bring Steve out of the country as soon as

possible, although it may take a few days. The Sudanese forces

currently control the airport.

As Steve can, he will be posting on the blog, The Voice of Humanity

Healing, as events transpire. Internet is sporadic so that will be

where the breaking news is.
