Guest guest
Dear , I know how you feel - even though I haven't had photoderm. Right now I am just having lots of tests to rule out a systemic disease - doctors just don't seem to realize how miserable rosacea can make you!!!!! I think the photoderm will work though, I read so many who have had 6 treatments and then they say the burning and sensitivity are so much better. But I would be so down if I had 2 photoderms and was burning up!!! It is so hard to be patient. I wish someone would find a cure for this lousy rosacea!!!!! Hang in there, . All best, Patty
Guest guest
, Could you possible share the details of your TX's with us (settings/flushing prior to session etc)...perhaps we could figure out why your results are not what mine and others on the group are. Guest guest
i do go to the meetings and i always learn something. you have to listen carefully to people, especially when they talk about the surgery being a tool. i think for most people, it is not an easy ride. you do have to work hard, but the surgery should make it a little easier. my health is in no way compromised because of the surgery and although i haven't lost all my weight there are definitely benefits that i enjoy because i lost 65 lbs. i am much more active and do not have any of the pain that i had prior to surgery. i am not gaining weight like i was. i just want to lose the rest of this weight. i think dr thayer is a very good surgeon. i just think the surgery is not always going to work 100% for everyone. most people are able to lose their weight and then need to work hard to maintain it. there are no easy answers. i still would have it done. luckily i did not have any complications that were life threatening. mary (no subject) > Hi , > I was scheduled for surgery on December 28th. Guest guest
Dawn, You should try a batch of pickles. It is not hard to do at all. Pickles would be a good thing to have around when you need a snack and homemade is so much better. Sorry to hear that you had to make the trip to pick up your hubby for no reason. It probably made him feel good just to see the family after his first day back. Well turning 40 hasn't fazed me. I have felt like 40 or older for quite awhile anyhow. I have never been that vain anyway to let age get to me. Take Care, > Hi, . Thanks for the pat on the back....I was pretty proud of myself, > too. LOL. Guest guest
Hi Joanne, Canned tomato is illegal. Different batches of tomatoes have different brix content (natural sugar levels). To ensure that all batches are even tasting, sugar etc. is sometimes added. This falls under the 2% rule please see http://www.pecanbread.com/foodprep.html#homemade If she only tried lentils the day before then this may have been what caused her reaction. For some people it takes a really long time before they can tolerate dried beans or lentils. Also when you say snuck two bites of bread do you mean SCD bread or the illegal kind? Guest guest
- What is the seitan pot roast recipe???? I have seitan but running out of ideas for it. Do you eat celebration roast??? mmm.... Katcha- Hmm I will have to explore if it comes from a place that I cannot have anymore…I think perhaps I am a bit of a hedonist and enjoy pleasurable things. Studies have shown that people who have a less serotonin naturally made than others seeks pleasure more than those who have the chemical ready made… its something to consider? Sunny, you are right after the fist few bites. I think I am going to spend this week being more mindful and watching myself as I eat. I tend to be so busy that I go on automatic pilot. Liz- welcome!hugs,Jenna
