My new endo is checking to find out which of those meters will work with my

present insulin pump. I am having problems with not be aware of low blood

sugars. It will still involve doing regular blood sugars, but will

hopefully give me a clue when the BG is dropping.

Subject: Moniters

For a week they have Boyd using a monitor that registers his sugar around

the clock 24/7. They put a chip in his arm and he carries the monitor in his

pocket or has it by him. He has to put the manual readings in that he takes

also every few hours. It tells you when to it. For the first time entering

his he had do to 2 readings with his monitor the first reading said 203 and

the second 212. After this he will only have to do 1 each time he has to

manually enter it. The chip in his arm and that monitor says that his sugar

is 239 now. He hasn't ate much today either.

I can only wear sandals today. The deep-fryer spewed really hot oil over my

toes last night. Luckily I was able to get ice on it right away. It was next

to the refrigerator and then I had Boyd make me a bag of ice to put my foot

in. I don't have any blisters but I have sore red toes.
