Islam means peace. True muslims believe that ALL life is sacred.

My muslim friends are as appalled by that sort of behavour as non muslims are. Without question my muslim friends are tolerant and accepting of other peoples religious choices.

As with any religious group there will be so called 'fundamentalists' but these are thankfully few and far between in any muslim group. Every religion has its unsavoury side, usually from individuals who have their own agenda.

Islam is an abrahamic religion in the same tradition as judaism and christianity. Muslims revere Jesus, but they regard him as a prophet of god, not the son of god. He is still an important person in their religion.

Snopes says this is not entirely factual...but yea or nay it's scary to read. I though at first this was a current happening but see it's a few years old.

I would think Mathes credibility would be on the line at any rate.

I would however like to know, did this meeting take place as written or not?

How much of it IS factual?

Even tho' it's a few years old Rich and I are reading it NOW and wondering....
