Very helpful!! Thanks so much! To: mb12 valtrex Sent: Mon, January 31, 2011 3:58:40 PMSubject: Re: flu question

hi

we take monolaurin as well but we have capsules from Ecological Formulas (the 300 mg form).

My son is 5 and 38 pounds and when sick , I give him 2 to 3 a day.

Throughout the winter months I give him one a day for about 5 days per week.

He is 10, sixty pounds. We started with 7 mini pellets. He was taking 11/4 scoops at the time he got the flu. He now takes 1.5 scoops each day. Sent from my iPhone

Thanks ...can you tell me what you started at and weight/age of your kiddo?

We take monolaurin. ( again, start slow). Mine caught flu this year, and it was gone in 48 hours. Might help. Supposed to help with flu. Sent from my iPhone

My PANDAS son takes OLE (1500mg per day 22% oleuropein) and a handful of other supps and has been doing magnificently in the past month or so. The flu is flying through his school and altho he's homeschooled he still sees his friends..and his gf alot. Today he woke with a cough (sounded like an irritated myco cough to me) and now a low grade temp. ugh. All anxiety spins when he's sick. I know the drill on fluids, rest, easily digested foods, etc but what's the best route to take with flu symptoms from a supp standpoint. Lysine? Vit C? Thanks, in advance.
