I do not think a binge will affect a baby. Not to worry, mama! Best,Abbyfellow mama to be... 25 weeks pregnant with a girl

I did very well during the entire pregnancy so far, even no cravings, until Sat night.

I would not call what I had on sat, food to satisfy a craving. It was a real binge.

Sunday went well.I wanted to restrict but I didn't.

The binge was probably triggered by many things and I am trying to work on all of them but at least, if anyone knows how it may have affected me or the baby, I would appreciate it

thanks

I agree with Abby. I think binges are almost a part of pregnancy and I can't see how one overindulgence would hurt baby or you, especially since you seem to have your head on again today and recognize it, and aren't beating yourself up, just acknowledging and trying to move on.Dawn RTo: IntuitiveEating_Support Sent: Sun, April 24, 2011 9:14:01 PMSubject: Re: how does a binge affect the the baby if you are pregnant?

it was def not overindulging.

it was a clear binge

no purging, no laxatives, no stool softener..but the quick eating, amount of

food and varierty were def there

not to mention the emotions I was trying not to see

Hi Abby,Congratulations on your soon-to-be little girl! Don't think if mom binges it will hurt the baby either. Mom may feel a bit miserable, but junior will be just fine!Hugs,Jeanne
