Thanks Tammy. We have a VDR +/+ defect so I am not totally sure what that means. It's vitamin d receptor... I give them a lot but maybe you are correct, maybe they just require much much more? Sigh.

 

Was just doing some research in light of my son's lab results. Low Vitamin D and low thyroid. Low and behold...they go hand in hand. (Apparently this is common knowledge, so as usual, I'm feeling like duhhhh.) Toni, a couple of articles mentioned Hoshimotos. Have you had Gabi's D levels checked? Also came across an article that discussed low D levels and the onset of inflammation and autoimmune issues (this was an article addressing women's health....I will keep digging). Many of you may remember many months ago telling us that it took an insane amount of CLO for him to get his head banging under control? I wonder if he needed the D more than the EFA's? Where is ? I miss him.

Oh Tammy, selenium supp can help low thyroid.
