I'm setting a very bad example here!

I was only 11, and it was 45 years ago, so I don't have a sense of the time

period between the first symptoms of diabetes (frequent urination and

extreme thirst for me), and when I ended up in the hospital (or otherwise,

began treatment).

Thanks for a few of you sharing your experience, privately.
