Guest guest
As far as I am concerned any form of transfat in any amount is not good for the human body. Unfortunately, most of us remain ignorant of the dangers of transfats. GMO genetically modified crops today have dangerous consequences for humans, especially when these GMO foods are consumed from an early age throughout life from birth to adulthood. GMO foods should be labeled as being such. In California the citizens there have the ability due to a referendum to get a bill passed to insure that GMO foods are labeled as being such a food source, and I hope it passes. In fact I hope it spreads throughout the USA. We should consume only nonGMO oils like olive oil and cocanut oil.It is said that corn oil, soy oil and canola oil are safe to consume, but I am not sure, since most of these are now produced using GMO seeds. As an example read about canola oil in the following link, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canola Make no mistake about transfats. If it reads on the label as being hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated, It is a trans fat.
