Rash in unusual place ... please advice!

My son has completed week six on Valtrex and gains are still good. We have

experienced rashes on the inner elbows and face (red eczema like). Yesterday I

noticed a white lesion on my son's anal area. It was not an open lesion and it

does not seem to bother him. I was wondering if it could be a genital herpe

from the Valtrex. He is not complaining about it but I think he is scared to

have a bowel movement. Is this common or unusual? Just curious as I have not

read a lot about rashes in the genital areas of our kiddos. It might not be

anything but I thought I would ask anyway.
