I didn't even consciously realize that I had outlawed them because it was so long ago, in high school, because they were too high in carbs. Now i'm loving them in my yogurt every morning and finding they fill me up just as much as apples and pears... and just like them, without an energy crash soon after.yay! Soooooooo many years of unadorned salads and veggies that I have hardly had a vegetable since starting IE. I'm LOVING my carbs - ice cream, pasta, bagels - plus melty cheeses. I keep fruit around in case I start to crave it, but so far...nada. It's so nice to be reunited with my carb friends and realize that I don't have an addiction and can eat them without binging! April It has been interesting and fun to note that when I began IE I LOVED apples. But as time passed, I didn't hate them, but just plain didn't want to eat any. Well my apple thing returned a short time ago and I find I am eating about one each day. I'm now smiling because I wonder how long this will continue, plus I know when this phase is over, I'll be just fine with not eating apples for a while.Is there a food that is your current love or hate?
