No one is an expert. And people who are better in one area generally aren't so much in others. I don't know of anyone I would call an expert at anything when dealing with autism. There are some really great doctors but even they don't have everything down.

What doctor is the most expert in treating both PANDAS and herpes? I am not limiting this to a DAN doctor--just any doctor who is an expert in both of these issues that would be willing to try aggressively to help an ASD kid?

our immunologist treats both, Baptist in Kansas, but with the herpes do you have tests showing active cases? if not, not sure where he would stand. by the way he takes insurance too

I believe so but would call his office to varify. I know that he will pull titers and treat accordingly. he treated us for our PANDAS issues for years before we moved to vermont because the lack of educated DANS in maine was bad.....and he did it all long distance
