Medisense pen battery replacement

Has anyone out there figured out how to replace the battery on a

Medisense/Precision QID pen meter? They don't sell them anymore and

won't repair them. I love the portability of this meter.

Yes, I know they'll replace it with something newer. Unfortunately,

all the new meters are much bigger, even the FreeStyle. Plus, I've

got lots of test strips to use up, and the new meters take different

strips.
