Guest guest
Sherayl welcome aboard, and all we can do is our best, and it is good to have support like we have here. sugar ' Your mind is your garden, your thoughts are your seeds. You can grow flowers or you can grow weeds.' ~Be Blessed, Sugar Re: a better Intro? Hi Dave and everyone, thanks for the welcomes. Umm ... this sounds like a wonderful list, with folks who care about and support each other. Diabetes is a nasty killer, no doubt. Ifya let it. When I was growing up during the cave man days, I had one great/grand? Uncle, physically fit otherwise, and watched what he ate, who'd already had a leg amputated by the time us grand nieces and nephews came along. He died in his late fifties. then his brother who, both he and his wife were bad diabetics; both very obese and ate whatever they wanted, no exercise other than complaining, lived into their late eighties with no amputations or the like. Go figure! That was back when the needles were big and u had to sharpen them yourselves. All I ever heard about it was that diabetics had to stay away from, sugar. Thats all my family knew about it as well as our frinds. leave the *sugar* alone. At any rate, I was diagnosed in mid eighties. and learned some things since then, albeit the hard way. First thing was to get me ed out of me rear and do my own research as well as ... well ... just take resposibility. thanks for the welcomes cheryl
