Guest guest
Hi Peggy: I have been thinking of you too. I know you are always thinking of others. I have had a great day with my daughter today and I do want to thank you all for your prayers from yesterday. They really helped me a great deal. The idea of the patch really threw me for a loop, but like Bruce said yesterday, let it go today, and I did but only through the strength and guidance of all of your prayers and your love and support which you give me all the time. This group here is fantastic and don't know what I would do without it now. It is part of me now and couldn't do as well without it. The insurmountable amount of knowledge of PF and its crazy ways have thrown most of us for loops many times I believe. We always seems to come out of it, no matter how awful it seems at the time. My faith I always thought was strong but yesterday I was tested, and I failed miserably until I heard the words from all of this board. The most helpful and supportive part of my life right now is to stick with the board as this is where IT IS AT. no question about that. I LOVE YOU THIS DAY !! HEAVEN IS IN THE NEXT ROOM !! Guest guest
Hi Lou, I agree everyone must be out enjoying the sunshine! I am so sorry about your hip. It sounds incredibly painful and the surgery sounds awful. Enjoy your ice cream. Praying you feel better- Sarcoid/PF 3/2006 California Subject: Thanks Peggy and Beth, I thoughtTo: Breathe-Support Date: Saturday, July 26, 2008, 5:19 PM maybe the breathe-support group all went on a picnic without me !!!! It has been quiet, and it's going to be quieter, as Earl is coming home with ice cream for me, (chocolate) with nuts, and we are watching Nascar race from O'Reilly Raceway Park in Indianapolis, IN. Tomorrow is the big one though, same place.I don't have anything to say though except that there is a new problem now, and a severe one along with my PF. My right hip is collapsing and I knew it was just a matter of time. Next week I have to make an appt with the orthopaedic surgeon who did my other hip 9 yrs. ago and my back surgery 2 yrs ago and have him take a good look at the right hip and then give me some (lortab) or fantastic pain med. so I don't have to have the surgery. It is a MEAN surgery for me now with only 50% capacity in lungs and a 4 1/2 hr surgery, that I totally refuse to have. No more No more. nuff The pain is horrendous, I am taking 2 generic tylenol every 4 yrs. round the clock. That's all I have to say, doesn't have anything to do with PF, but I know my pulmo would not recommend that surgery at my age and state of my lungs. The recup perios is 4 months, and that is totally stupid to even consider.I LOVE YOU THIS DAYMARY LOUIPF '
