Yep, yep, yep, I truly am lazy. I hate to exercise, but sometimes I do as

needed. I do not exercise regularly. Lately my glr's have been running high,

so when it gets so high like today a glr of 225, I think it is time to exercise.

So I do the lazy man's sqwats. Some people call them knee bends, and this is

how it is done. I believe in safety so do this if you are over wweight,

unbalanced on your feet or have health problems other than diabetes. First hold

on to a bed post or a table counter top or something that can keep you from

falling while doing these knee bends. There is no need to bust your butt or some

other important bone in your body. What is the largest muscle in your body? I

think it is your thigh muscles. It might be your tongue. Let me know for sure.

Fat people have an advantage with this exercise, since you can build better

strength andd endurance with this anarobic exercise. The more weight you can

lift, the stronger you will be. So lift your fat butt as slowly as you can.

Also sqwat as slowly as you can. While holding on to something stable and sturdy

go down and then up by just bending your knees until your thigh bone is level in

the horizonal position, then stand up straight. Doing this once is called one

repetition. Do this seveeral times or as many times as you can without passing

out. It will cause your heart to pump faster and faster, and it will cause your

legs to get tired. It will also cause you to get out of breath. AFter doing

this just stand there, hold on if you must and rest until your breathing and

heart rate returns to normal. This usually takes two or three minutes. It may

even take longer, but take the time you need to feel ready to do another set.

When I first started doing them I did a set of ten to fifteen reps, repetitions.

Once you are rested, it is now time to do another set. I usually do two sets of

30 reps, which will cause my leg muscles to burn a little, that good old lactic

acid burn. This means you are straining your thigh muscles, which will cause

them to get stronger with proper rest.Now that you have completed at least two

sets of these reps, rest for two or three days and then do them again. You will

notice that it is easier to do the same number of reps or at least you should.If

not, you have not given yourself a proper rest interval between exercising.

Compare your glr's.After an hour rest your bglr' should be significantly lower.

Of course this will vary according to your pre exercise glr. With this standard

exercise procedure my glr usuall fall fifty or more points as to day when it

dropped 51 points. Tell me about your experience with this exercise.Remember a

glr is the actual glucose level reading you got on your glucose meter.
