Guest guest Posted January 22, 2012 Report Share Posted January 22, 2012 I gave up most carbs, if I want potatoes, I have a winter squash or sweet potatoes, if i want dessert i have something like a pudding or limon pudding and cake. I believe in appy's an horu before the meal, a juice, salad or raw veggy plannter, then a plaate theat is 1/2 veggies 1/4 meat and usually the rest is empty. But then I am on insulin and it cost the big bucks for eating carbs. They told my brother Dan that 60 grams per meal was OK. So I am not sure if that is too much for us.
