Earl and I were sitting at " Shoney's " restaurant this morning about

9:30 (yes, I got out, great too) having the buffet, and I got a call

on my cell phone from my girlfriend in South Dakota (Sioux Falls) and

they were sitting out on their deck having their coffee (1 hr. behind

us)CST and we started to giggle and laugh like we always do, us 4 are

best friends. They were the ones who flew out here to Richmond in

January to see us as none of us 4 could stand the thought of not ever

seeing them again, it had been a while.

Her husband got on my cell phone with Earl and they talked about

fishing, etc, then Earl started to laugh so hard, he almost peed his

pants. haha Then he asked my friends husband to tell me what he just

said. We 4 had been talking about getting old and dementia etc, and

kidding around. Then Ray said to me, talking like I had just walked

in the room where he was:::::: " Hey, what the hell is your name and

why are you wearing my underwear " ? I laughed at that pretty good, it

made my day, actually. We 4 used to hunt and fish all the time

together near in SD and were big fishing and hunting on the Missouri

River and the Black Hills near Mount Rushmore. Such beautiful

country too. What the heck am I doing here in VA, the hot humid

steamy state. yukkies.!!!!

We have the Nascar big race at 2:30 today and are excited about that

on tv. I am a big Dale Earnhardt Jr. fan.

The Helios and Companion I used (liq oxy) this morning when we were

out did a good job and I am sitting here at the computer finishing up

the oxygen that is in the companion. Might as well, it will

evaporate anyhow.

Tonight my step grandson (12) is coming to stay for a couple

of days with me. He has ADHD and Aspergers Syndrome and takes meds

for it, but is an A student and smart as a whip. He has this

electronic new Monopoly game (no more money used) just battery

operated components now. I like it much better. He always beats me

in that but I always beat his butt in scrabble. Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!

No one ever has paid much attention to because he is different

and shy and a loner and doesn't do well with socializing, so whenever

we go to their home, I always go right into his room and talk with

him, hug him and we sit on the floor together like we are the same

age. (Well, we are) We kind of have a very special bond (12) (74)

can you beat it???? His Mom will pick him up on Tues. after work.

My hip hurts like a son of a gun but the tylenol helps a lot and the

Aspercreme I put on there several times a day (non-odor) and it

really helps too.

Thank you all for your concern with my hip, but again, it is just

another hump I have to get over. No surgery, though, no no no no.
