Guest guest
I got 2 new meds while I was in the hospital last week for A fib with my heart and my sugar being to high. here is the names of the 2 new pills. the one for the A fib is 200 mg called Amiodarone, HCI and I take 2 of a morning. then for the diabetes I have 2.5 mg of Glipizide and I take it with breakfast every day. maybe some one on list has heard of these or took one or both. I will admit after having my sister read the warning paper that came with the A fib pill all most made me no interested in taking the pills. the way I understand it is it allows the heart to rest a lot better and not have to work as hard. I will admit when my heart rate was staying in the 80's and 90's most of the time at rest was making me feel better then now in the 60's all the time. also they said the Glipizide is a med that you take with meal and acts like insulin instead of my met Forman I also take. they said it could be dangers if I took it and my sugar was to low. the Glipizide also has a XL right after it what ever this means. thanks for any information any one has on these 2 new drugs I'm now taking.
