I just bought some and found they put citric acid in the Lily Of The

Desert brand.I don't know why I didn't read the ingredients.I always

read the ingredients.Sometimes I wonder about myself :-) .Its got a great

brown glass container though.I found that most are sold in plastic

and I don't like that. Has any one found a good brand with nothing

but aloe and no plastic? Tammy F.

I use it for my son, our nathuropath Dr says it's

purificatif. Hard to say if it's work as I think it

can't make a huge change.

do you guys have any recommendations, we've tried 3 different brands and the

taste makes it difficult for us to drink it?

Everything I've ever read recommends 's aloe vera juice. I don't know if it comes in plastic, though. Why not just buy aloe leaves and juice your own? It'll be nice and frest each day.

My son had blood in his poop and along with more probiotics my DAN doc suggest aloe juice. I put it in his bottle with suppliments 2 x a day. It helps him poop. On the juice the time from eating food to pooping that food out it is 24 hours, it used to be 36-48 hours but he was pooping everyday. I am using an organic brand but it is in plastic.

's aloe is virtually tasteless and doesn't require refrigeration. It

tastes like spring water! It DOES come in plastic, but it's the milk bottle

plastic #2.

's by far is the easiest to hide/get down. We used it for quite a while to keep the bowels moving however we stopped using it when a new practitioner mentioned that consistent use of aloe will raise estrogen levels. She orders blood work about every two months and sure enough, the estrogens were high and when we stopped the aloe the estrogen levels had decreased.I have tried to find scientific papers/data on this but haven't had much luck. It was good for us at the time but now I wouldn't use it everyday. Subject: Re: Re : Aloe VeraTo:

going to cut back. Do you know how long IS ok, by any chance?

I don't - which is why I spent some time trying to find more info. My son's estrogen levels came down pretty rapidly after using Aloe every day for over a year so if I were in a pinch with constipation, I'd probably use it to get things moving. I just wouldn't use it anymore to KEEP things moving.Subject: Re: Re : Aloe VeraTo: mb12 valtrex Date: Saturday, February 26, 2011, 2:19 PM
