Sher: I went to see pulmo this morning.................

He took 3 xrays of my lungs. He was here as you know 2 wks ago today

at our home, he heard a lot of crackling when he was here. He asked

me to come in today for xrays. No appt either, just come to his

office. So Earl took me in.

Took the xrays and said he thinks I have an infection in my lungs so

put me on " z-pak " . Earl went to store and I have already taken the

1st 2 pills for today. me oh my!!!!!!!!!! Will wonders never cease.

I feel ok, but xrays don't always show that. I have been coughing

some but not unusual. Earl says I have but just don't notice it

anymore. \

The Pulmo had me diagnosed today AGAIN as Interstitual PF, what is

going on here??? Sher, I am like you, don't know what I have, guess

that is how unsure the dx for this disease is. Right? All I know is

I need oxygen 24/7, can't do without it for a minute. My legs get

weak. The 15mg of Pred. seem to be working well, no ill effects from

the lesser dosage so far. He gave me a pres. for more pred. So I

have gone from 30mg in Oct. 2007 to 15mg as of 2 wks ago, not bad,

and seem to be doing ok, but am not exerting myself outdoors at all.

It is too blazin' hot here for me to be out in it. Totally takes my

breath away.

I hope you are doing ok and like the old saying goes Sher, " It will

all come out in the wash " . I just wish it would come out, don't you?
