I'm one of those people who's not good with words when I'm feeling emotional, so people CAN verbally push me around if I " m not careful. So for me, sometimes I have to write things down for a significant other...and sometimes people who are verbally pushy don't even realize they're doing it! I'm not saying this is you, just sharing what I personally experience.
