Valtrex does not treat Rubella. Rubella is not a herpes virus so it's not directly related to the Valtrex use and it won't stop a rash from appearing. But the valtrex may be helping the immune system enough that the immune system is starting to deal with it, which might be why you are getting a Rubella rash (if it is that, I dunno).

This makes sense to me... we alleviate the burden on the mitochondria, and they can do what they are meant to do!!!

I also meant to say that you might want to see a doctor. He might actually have Rubella and it's very contagious. And call your DAN. You might need to treat with Vit. A (Vit A is the only real treatment in use for measles but other than the high dos A protocol, I don't really know how. I just know that even WHO says Vitamin A is treatment).

So, essentially - support the immune system so that it can deal with the Rubella

(I think that is what you are saying?) -- which makes sense to me.

potassium/sodium (keeping hydrated - coconut water/celery juicer juice) both

high in potassium and sodium -- also organic alfalfa caps are a perfect ratio of

potassium and sodium.

Calcium/Magnesium (if the electrolytes are off, these will be off)

Cheryl and Toni, thank you for your help. It is very dificult to deal with so many things and when I think something is working my son goes down.

The doctor already ordered a titers test. I will do this week.

All the Bs are great... B2 / riboflavin / R-5-P was recommended on my daughter's OAT; I didn't realize it was a huge deal. :-)
