Guest guest
,We are seeing a HH dentist now. She is saying something about muscle testing for bio-compatibility.Did you do this, urine, or blood tests? The blood test is about 250$ or so, but it sounds most reliable. But how does a blood test determine your compatibility??? , PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't allow any dentist to do a root canal in your child's mouth! I have done a lot of research on dental care and root canals, which are dead teeth (they drill out the pulp) are VERY bad for the body. The body will continue to try to fight it over and over and over. Dead teeth also accumulate very dangerous pathogenic bacteria. The same bacterias that are responsible for cancer. In fact, ALL cancer patients who have visited the Huggins clinic for dental revision have had root canals and the same bacteria in their root canal sites were in the tumors. This is a very serious thing to consider, so PLEASE do the research and familiarize yourself with your options before going through with it. Research Hal Huggins and root canals. Oh and when I just went to my biological dentist on Wed, she had JUST come back from a training seminar with the Huggins clinic and they have studies proving that you do NOT need to drill all the way down to the pulp, even if there is decay there, because regardless of whether the cavity reaches the pulp, the pulp is still infected, so what this means is that those fillings that are done without drilling all the way to the pulp still stops the infection from getting worse. Encapsulating the tooth prevents the decay from going further AND the pulp literally heals itself! No mainstream dentist is going to know this, I promise you that. He may even look at you like you are insane, so perhaps it's time to lay the law down telling this dentist that you do NOT want the drilling to go near the pulp. Feel free to call my dentist and tell her what you are up against. How you have a child with a potential root canal and you REALLY need to know about this new knowledge. Her name is Dr. Blanche Grube, in Scranton PA. There are very few doctors that amaze me anymore, but this one, she knows her stuff! PS - this tooth is just going to fall out and be replaced by another, so the alternative to leaving the tooth is just to pull it, problem solved! That is personally what I would do before putting any foreign materials into his mouth. > > My son is 4.5 year old and recently he was found to have serious tooth decay in his 2 upper central incisor teeth. One is so serious that his pediatric dentist asked us to consider root canal to avoid damage to the nerves. > > The dentist said he would use local anesthesia to reduce the pain during the treatment, but I am too concerned about the side effects of the anesthesia, and am also concerned about any possible trauma that he might develop. -- Toni------Mind like a steel trap...Rusty and illegal in 37 states. Guest guest
You can do muscle testing for composite compatibility, but it doesn't carry a 100% accuracy, although, I'm sure even the blood testing doesn't have that high of an accuracy rate either, but it seems like a more reliable method to me. Some people will do the blood test and then use muscle testing to determine which of the acceptable composites are best for them. I have read that a lot of people recommend doing the compatibility testing via the blood test, especially when spending a lot of money to do a dental revision. Just because a material isn't metal doesn't mean you won't have problems with it. The company they use is call BioComp Laboratories, you can look them up for more information about testing and how they do it. It's an informative site. > > > > > > My son is 4.5 year old and recently he was found to have serious tooth > > decay in his 2 upper central incisor teeth. Guest guest
Hi. When I had my dental surgery (Dr. Glaros, Houston, he's a holistic dentist) -- He had another Dr. in his office that did this 'thing' -- but she took my hand, had me hold this metal tube like thing in my other hand, and then she just ran this thing over my fingers like 1000 times...It cost me $100. What she was doing was a compatibility test with a computer and this device. Funny, she said, WOW, you really don't do well with nickel. And she was VERY correct. Found it..(I still don't know what it's called) http://www.drdawn.net/ laura > > > > > > > > My son is 4.5 year old and recently he was found to have serious tooth > > > decay in his 2 upper central incisor teeth. Guest guest
I'm going to throw this out there (and I might sound like an idiot) -- but I thought that muscle testing was when you held 'whatever' in your hand, then they actually pumped your arm to see if that worked or didn't for you... laura:) > > > > > > > > > > > > My son is 4.5 year old and recently he was found to have serious > > tooth > > > > > decay in his 2 upper central incisor teeth. Guest guest
I dunno, the lady said something about holding something in her fingers. LOL I really don't know, she said there were like 3 or 4 ways to test compatibility. Guest guest
Dental material compatibility testing through blood and muscle testing is often accurate prior and shortly after the material is placed. But there is now information suggesting that people are reacting to those materials within days or weeks after placement. All composite fillings (they are white) are made of petrochemical plastic, and that includes bisphenols. Porcelains do contain aluminum. The only information I have found so far regarding materials that muscle test clear after placement has been through Dr. Randy Aguilera DDS. Compatibility is no longer finding out about how well a person reacts or only mildly reacts to a certain material that is inherently toxic, the focus is now on only placing materials that are inert to all people all the time. An article on this and root canal is here http://www.drheise.com/dental.htm Hope this helps! > > > > > > > > My son is 4.5 year old and recently he was found to have serious tooth > > > decay in his 2 upper central incisor teeth. Guest guest
Root canals are never recommended because they are toxic and can cause immune system failure in compromised people. But the biggest reason is that they are unnecessary. There are new, state of the art procedures using dental lasers that have made root canal obsolete. The same goes for periodontal gum disease. Only a progressive, forward trained dentist is going to take an interest in keeping up with cutting edge, whole person, non-toxic dentistry. Most dentists are in the dark ages when it comes to root canals and haven't bothered to take the training, invest the money, update their skills and incorporate lasers into their practices. Cavities can be cleaned and the tooth freed of decay without a filling though lasers, if not too severe. Find a new dentist. It's madness to suggest a root canal on a child. Find a dentist that is out of the dark ages who is up to date on all the information about toxicity and works with lasers and can possibly even save your child's teeth. By the way, if there is decay in a child of 4.5 it is caused by internal mineral and nutritional status, not by lack of brushing. For healing with nutrition a good site is http://www.curetoothdecay.com/Root_Canal/heal_prevent_root_canals.htm Here is a link to a dentist who has been using lasers for 20 years, Dr. Martha Cortes http://www.cosmetic-laser-dentistry-new-york.com/index.php Hope this helps, > > > > > > > > My son is 4.5 year old and recently he was found to have serious tooth > > > decay in his 2 upper central incisor teeth. Guest guest
I thought it was a little *kooky* but ..you know, most people think I am *kooky* that I don't feed my kid milk or wheat... I actually like *kookiness* (is that a word?)
