Guest guest
I am currently working on my soda habit too.I'm doing a few different things. One, I recently quit buying it for the house (used to drink several cans a day), but I allow myself to have it when I eat out. Don't want to make it completely forbidden, as with IE principles. Two, I've challenged myself to drink more water, because I have just not been hydrating myself properly. Have a cool app on the phone (called Drinking Water) where I can click a picture of a glass for every cup I drink. It plays an applause track when you click the last glass of the day.Three, I'm experimenting with other flavored drinks, because sometimes I need TASTE, and adding a lemon or cucumber slice to water is just not enough taste. I like adding some Crystal Lite to seltzer water. (Warning, if you do so, pour some in a glass first, especially the orange flavors. Something about the orange flavors is like Diet Coke and Mentos.) Things like Crystal Lite of course have their own nutritional issues (artificial sweeteners, colors), but for me, it's a good compromise over the caffeine and acid in diet sodas.Sara
