my numbers for to day are.

breakfast, 119

lunch, 116

dinner, 118

bed time, 107

I am noticing that my averages are slowly coming down the longer I'm on the

insulin and doing all the eating and exercise stuff right. to morrow will only

be day twelve. sure doesn't take long when you are taking insulin to bring the

sugar under control, but I know it isn't just the insulin alone. eating right

and counting carbs is a big part of it, as well as exercise. they all 3 work

together to do the job the right way. I know in April my A1C won't be in lower

then maybe ten from 12 where is was in March, but I bet when I go back in 3

months my A1C will be 6 at this rate. it has been a very long time since my A1C

has been lower then seven. going to throw me a party that day and drink me a

glass of cold milk. however my glass of milk won't be the 32 ounce glass that I

use to use for drinking milk. now I know to only buy a pint and this will be all

that will go in the glass. I thought 3 gallons a week was bad and for a diabetic

it really is bad! I use to have a brother in law that drank a gallon of milk

every day. he drank milk with meals and like most do when they drink pop and

tea. he may be a diabetic by now though.
